For sale is our wooden H-van mini ale bar. Would be great for anyone with a catering van who wants to add something extra to their repertoire!
I made this for our wedding back in 2017, being a long term Citroen fan, H van owner, and real ale drinker we had two H-vans at the wedding including the bar (curtesy of the Gin Emporium) and I built this so our guests could join me in a pint or two….!
Its constructed from solid pine, even the louvres, and designed to take three 5lt mini kegs like the one shown in the picture. Most breweries sell these now, they simply sit inside with the taps overhanging the back. It measures 61cm (2) long, 40cm (16) high and 35cm (14) deep. Its still in great condition, only used once, and is currently bare wood, so could be stained or painted to match your van.
Two years on and weve just managed to buy our first house, which is tiny, so it now needs to find a new home. If you own or run a catering H-van this would be a great addition, could easily be modified for other things. Or just put it in your living room and have your very own Citroen themed pub!
